Shah and Bilal Khan shine on a rainy day to score
magnificent centuries as Halton Stars maintained their
domination of scoring runs and race to anther 400-runs
inning.

Halton Stars won and the toss and elected to bat first,
Naveed Sehrai and Ali Shah opened the inning. Right from
the first ball, while Ali Shah patiently playing
strokes, as usual Boom Boom Naveed started hitting the
ball all over field and the partnership score quick 47
runs in 4 overs before Naveed got caught, he scored 22
runs in his short inning with the help of 2 sixes.
Khalid Gilani join Ali Shah and fireworks continued as
Ali Shah now took over the charge and frustrated the
Tradewinds bowlers, smashing spectacular sixes and fours
to quickly race to his 1st century of the
season, hitting 8 sixes and 6 fours in his magnificent
inning of 100.
Bilal Khan joined Khalid, Bilal was the more aggressive
of the two, scoring the bulk of his runs through the
covers and the midwicket region. Mr. Consistent Khalid
Gilani as usual eased into the secondary role, steadily
taking advantage of loose deliveries in his excellent
inning of 61 runs with the help of 1 six and 5 fours.
Bilal on the other hand continue play aggressively and
took advantage of also the inevitable loose deliveries
to notch his 3rd hundred, helping HSCC-A to
401 for 9. Bilal score 110 not out with the help of 4
sixes and 6 fours. Danish Bashir showed his power in
making quick 16 ball 47 runs that includes 5 consecutive
sixes in an over.
Rain
halted the play in the 7th over of Tradewinds
batting and game was called off.
Unfortunately, Sunday game against South Asian CC was
also rained out.
